The sound installation consists of two long tape loops, effect pedals, various objects and sound generators. The resulting soundscape is part of a series of „sound memories“. The echoing percussive sound of a coconut continuously hit by a motorized drumstick is layered with the sounds of the tape loops, field recordings of whistling seagulls and rattling cicadas, to form a fragile soundscape. A constantly repeating thought that slowly decomposes itself.
